Vice President of Clinical Operations
Katie Martin, PA-C board-certified Physician Assistant who has specialized in Medical Aesthetics since 2015. Her passion lies in education – both her clients and aspiring and seasoned injectors. Katie is the Vice President of Clinical Operations and an Advanced Injector at Holden Timeless Beauty where she specializes in neuromodulators, dermal fillers, Sculptra and skin treatments. She is an expert at tailoring medical-grade skin care regimens to client needs. Katie has also been deemed the “Sculptra Queen” of HTB.
As a widely sought-after GAIN trainer with Galderma for Restylane, Dysport and Sculptra, she travels the region and country to train other injectors in safe techniques with natural results. In 2023, Katie was added to the podium circuit for Galderma representing them at the highest level on national stages.
She is a National Speaker at industry conferences such as The Aesthetic Show, Vegas Cosmetic Surgery, MAC San Diego and AMWC. She passionately speaks on broad topics from business and leadership to clinical treatments.
Katie was born in Southern California and lived in Malibu and then Pittsburgh, PA. Katie earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Pennsylvania State University in Life Science with a minor in Psychology in 2006. She then spent a year working at Children’s Hospitals of Pittsburgh where she developed a passion for the medical field.
In 2010, Katie graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine with her Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She moved to San Diego and worked at El Centro Regional Medical Center and then Palomar Medical Center in the Emergency Department for 5 years.
After five years of practicing Emergency Medicine, Katie was ready for a change. She changed specialties to Aesthetic & Facial Plastic Surgery with a plastic surgeon in the San Diego area. This is where she developed a strong foundation of aesthetic technique and passion for skincare.
In 2018, Katie joined Dr. Holden at Holden Timeless Beauty as her Aesthetic Physician Assistant working at her Fallbrook, Escondido and La Mesa locations.
At the end of 2018, Katie partnered with Dr. Holden again in a venture and founded True to You Medical Aesthetics. True to You had three locations throughout the Southern California area in Fallbrook, Oceanside, and Murrieta.
Katie and Dr. Holden founded The Academy of Medical Aesthetics in 2019 to pursue their passion for educating other inspired medical providers in the field of Aesthetics.
In September of 2020, Katie again joined the Holden Timeless Beauty team as Director of Operations and soon was promoted to Vice President of Clinical Operations where she helps uplift and educate the growing team of clinicians.
Katie is a wife and mother of two girls. She enjoys exercise, reading and traveling.
