Cindi Vokey grew up in Massachusetts and moved to San Diego in 2009. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Worcester State College in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1999, before beginning her Nursing career as an Oncology Nurse at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. After eight years in oncology, she eplored and took interest in the Medical Aesthetic field. She began working with a vascular surgeon, who taught her the art of sclerotherapy.
Within a few months, she received her first Botox & Dermal Filler Certification. She continued to take advanced courses in Aesthetic Injectables furthering her knowledge base and acquiring the skills to elevate her aesthetic career. Her injection techniques, artistic nature, keen aesthetic eye, and experience, elevated her career to work as a Clinical Field Specialist, training Aesthetic Providers on the proper administration of a popular dermal filler.
Over the years, she has worked with several Plastic Surgeons and Aesthetic Providers gaining extensive experience in Laser Hair Removal, IPL, Microneedling, Chemical Peels, Sclerotherapy, Dermal Fillers and Botox administration. She has also worked as a consultant for Aesthetic Providers and has developed Nursing Board Approved Continuing Education Courses for several different nursing fields. She currently serves as a member on the ISPAN Complicance Practice Committee, helping develop guidelines for Aesthetic Nursing.
She has worked as a full time RN for over 20 years, and currently works as an Aesthetic Nurse with Dr. Holden at Holden Timeless Beauty and as a Clinical Trials Educator for a large company. She has a lifelong passion for the nursing field and strives to deliver that passion in both her professions. When she is not working, Cindi enjoys spending time with her 2 dogs. She enjoys time with friends, painting, hiking, the outdoors, working out and traveling.
