Do you struggle with dull skin? At Holden Timeless Beauty, we offer safe and effective microneedling treatments that can give you the refreshed look you deserve. These treatments are ideal for treating aging skin signs, dullness, and other issues. Typically, three sessions are all that’s needed for collagen induction. Once this occurs, your skin will heal and improve naturally over time. Schedule at one of our California offices today to learn more.
What is Microneedling?
This treatment works by encouraging your skin to make more collagen and elastin. This process involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny, sterile needles. The controlled micro-injuries created through this process stimulate a regenerative response. The skin responds by producing more collagen and elastin to help you heal. This results in stronger and plumper skin.
How Does Microneedling Work?
A microneedling session takes about 60 minutes to perform. During the session, tiny sterilized needles will be used to prick your skin. This will be done after numbing to avoid any discomfort you may experience. This treatment offers several benefits, including:
- Skin rejuvenation (increased suppleness & elasticity).
- Scar reduction (including acne & burn scars).
- Reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
- Reduce stretch marks.
- Improving skin tone.
- Pore size reduction.
- Upper lip rejuvenation.
Microneedling Treatment Results
The number of sessions you need will depend on your individual case. Microneedling can be safely repeated every 4-6 weeks as needed. Collagen induction is optimal with three treatments (typically), while scar reduction generally requires between 3-6 treatments. Collagen continues to be created for approximately 3-6 months after treatment, so you will continue to see the benefits of this treatment down the line.
